The silver Lightning

I've been always afraid of bare emtal/alluminium aircraft, but I nevertheless decided to try the new AK extreme emtal  on a 1/72 Trumpeter Lightning F6 ... The No.23 Squadron  commander's aircraft back in 1975,  at RAF Leuchars, as offered by Xtradecals, was a perfect subject! Ammo of Mig Jimenez aircraft weathering set and oils helped with the finish!!!!
